The short answer
Perfect Order’s two big chase cards are the gold Mega Zygarde ex 124/088 Mega Hyper Rare, about $88 raw on TCGplayer on 25 October 2026, and the Meowth ex 121/088 Special Illustration Rare, about $85. Everything else is under $41. Of the eight chase cards, only the gold Zygarde has a PSA 10 premium big enough to pay for grading.
Perfect Order came out on March 27, 2026, and the market has had seven months to settle. Prices have come down a long way since launch, and the gap between the two top cards and everything else is wide. This guide ranks the chase cards by what they sell for now, sets out what’s in the set and how often the big pulls turn up, and then does the part most chase lists skip: the grading sum, card by card.
What are the chase cards in Perfect Order?
The gold Mega Zygarde ex and the Meowth ex Special Illustration Rare are the two cards worth chasing. The other four Special Illustration Rares sit between $20 and $40, and the best Illustration Rare, Clefairy, is around $14.

The top two swap places from week to week. On TCGplayer’s market price the gold Zygarde is a few dollars ahead; on TCG Charts’ recent raw sales Meowth was ahead, at about $93 against $85. Graded, it isn’t close: a PSA 10 gold Zygarde sells for about $380, nearly twice a PSA 10 Meowth.
Below the top eight, the next best pulls are the full-art Ultra Rare Meowth ex (107/088, about $12.50) and the Ultra Rare Poké Pad (113/088, about $9). On TCGplayer’s market price, no other secret rare clears $6. If you’re not sure which symbol your card carries, our guide to Pokémon card rarity symbols shows each one.
How many cards are in Perfect Order?
Perfect Order has 124 cards: 88 in the main set and 36 secret rares numbered 089 to 124. It’s the third main expansion of the Mega Evolution series, its printed set code is POR, and Mega Zygarde ex is its headline card, alongside new Mega Evolution ex for Clefable, Starmie and Skarmory.

- Release: March 27, 2026, with prerelease events from March 14 to 26. It became legal in Standard play on April 10.
- Products: a booster box holds 36 packs, an Elite Trainer Box 9 and a Booster Bundle 6.
- Master set: TCGdex lists 79 cards with a reverse holo version, which is why master set counts run past 200.
What are the Perfect Order pull rates?
The Pokémon Company doesn’t publish pull rates, so every figure you’ll see is a community estimate. The most complete set we found, from CardCodex in April 2026, puts a Special Illustration Rare at about 1 in 81 packs and the gold Mega Zygarde ex at about 1 in 1,786.
- Any Double RareIn a 36-pack box about 71 in 5
- Any Illustration RareIn a 36-pack box about 41 in 9

| Pull | Odds per pack | In a 36-pack box |
|---|---|---|
| Any Double Rare | 1 in 5 | about 7 |
| Any Illustration Rare | 1 in 9 | about 4 |
| Any Ultra Rare | 1 in 12 | about 3 |
| Any Special Illustration Rare | 1 in 81 | 1 every 2 to 3 boxes |
| One specific SIR (e.g. Meowth ex) | 1 in 487 | 1 every 13 to 14 boxes |
| Mega Zygarde ex 124 (gold)Rarest | 1 in 1,786 | 1 every 50 boxes |
An independent count backs up the lower tiers. ComicBook’s reviewer opened 55 packs at launch and found Illustration Rares at roughly 1 in 9 and one Special Illustration Rare, with no gold card. That’s far too few packs to pin down the top pulls, and other estimates disagree: Retrododo, for example, puts the gold Zygarde at 1 in 1,200 packs and each Special Illustration Rare at 1 in 330.
Is it cheaper to open packs or buy the singles?
Buy the single. At the estimated odds, pulling one specific Special Illustration Rare like the Meowth ex takes about 13 or 14 booster boxes on average, around $2,300 at today’s $173 box price, for a card that sells for $85. The gold Zygarde works out at about 50 boxes, over $8,500, for an $88 card. Open packs because you enjoy it, not to get a particular card.
Which Perfect Order cards are worth grading?
Only the gold Mega Zygarde ex 124, and only if it’s clean. Sent to PSA on its own, every other Perfect Order chase card makes less as a PSA 10 than you’d get selling it raw, once the grading fee and postage are paid.
The sum: PSA’s cheapest open tier on 25 October 2026 is Standard at $59.99 a card (its Value tiers are paused), with a 90 to 100 business-day wait. Add roughly $40 of shipping both ways for a single card and grading costs about $100. Then eBay takes 13.25% plus $0.40 of whatever you sell for, graded or raw. Our PSA grading cost guide has every tier and the postage in full.

| Jacinthe 122 | $20 | $52 | −$73 |
That last column is the best case, where the card comes back a 10. A PSA 9 is worse. A PSA 9 Meowth ex sells for about $85, the same as a raw copy, so a 9 leaves you about $100 down. The Meowth needs better than a 9 in 10 chance of a PSA 10 to come out ahead when sent alone, and almost no card is that safe. The PSA 9 vs PSA 10 guide explains why modern cards fall off so hard below a 10.
Should you grade a Mega Zygarde ex 124?
Only if you’ve checked it closely and can’t find a flaw. The gold Zygarde is the hardest card in the set to get a 10 on: of the copies PSA has graded, about a quarter came back a 10, while the Special Illustration Rares get a 10 more than six times in ten.

Our read is that the all-gold textured surface shows every scratch, print line and edge chip, where the busy art on a Special Illustration Rare hides them. Whatever the cause, it matters for the sum. Here’s the gold Zygarde sent alone, using PSA’s own spread of grades on this card as the odds.
Selling the same card raw clears about $76 after eBay fees, so an average copy loses about $29 by being graded. You need roughly a 36% chance of a 10 to break even sending it alone, or about 21% in a batch. A pack-fresh card that you’ve looked over under a bright light and can’t fault is well above that. One with a speck on the back edge isn’t. For the full method, see whether it’s worth grading Pokémon cards.
Should I grade my Perfect Order pull? Check these first
Look for the one flaw that rules out a 10 before you spend anything. If you find one, sell the card raw or keep it in a top loader: on this set, a 9 almost never pays.
- Check the front centering. PSA’s 10 allows 55/45 on the front and 75/25 on the back. Compare the borders left to right and top to bottom; if one side looks visibly thicker, you’re likely past 60/40. Our centering guide shows how to measure it.
- Tilt the card under one bright light. On the gold Zygarde especially, scratches and print lines only show at an angle. Look across the whole face, not just the art.
- Turn it over and look at the edges. The dark blue back shows whitening the front hides. A few white specks are often the gap between a 10 and a 9.
- Look at all eight corners. Any rounding or a white dot on a corner takes a 10 off the table.
- Make sure it’s genuine. Gold cards are a favorite of counterfeiters, and PSA still charges the fee on a fake. If you bought it rather than pulled it, run through how to tell if a Pokémon card is fake.
What should you do with your Perfect Order hits?
Keep the cards you love, sell the rest raw, and grade only a flawless gold Zygarde. For the Special Illustration Rares, a PSA 10 sells for between about $50 and $210, which leaves little or no room for a $60 fee plus postage once you count what the card sells for raw. If prices keep sliding, the sum gets worse, not better. When you do sell, compare fees before you list: our guide on where to sell Pokémon cards sets them side by side.

What is the most expensive card in Perfect Order?
On 25 October 2026 the gold Mega Zygarde ex 124/088 had a TCGplayer market price of about $88 raw and about $380 as a PSA 10. The Meowth ex Special Illustration Rare 121/088 was close behind raw at about $85.
How many secret rares are in Perfect Order?
Thirty-six, numbered 089 to 124: 11 Illustration Rares, 18 Ultra Rares, 6 Special Illustration Rares and 1 Mega Hyper Rare. With the 88 main-set cards that makes 124 in total.
